I am so excited about sharing this NEW STORY DESIGNS TEE with you all!

I have a very popular mug that is a fun spin on the merging of two words--happiness and hope-- HOPINESS! And now we have a Hopey tshirt 😜

There are things in my life that I've talked to the Lord about and I'm hopeful as I wait on Him. Things I pray over my children that I'm hopeful for. There are things I want for my friends that when I am on my knees for them, hope rises. Not just for all our "dreams" to come true... not just happiness... but something deeper. And only God knows what that should and does look like for each person. So when God speaks to our thought life He tells us to dwell on good things, pure things, worthwhile things... I immediately thought about the phrase "think happy thoughts" and of course I smiled as I replaced the word "happy" with "hopey." How powerful it is to HOPE in God!

The Bible says we should be hopeful. That we should and can trust God with all things in our lives. It made me reflect on the waiting... the trusting of a sovereign God to write our story. It may not always play out the way we would like it to, or believe it should, BUT He is a good God and is always working. So maybe we trade our desire for happiness and let our hearts be full of hope as we trust our God, come what may. And it says hope will not disappoint. That makes me smile, because hoping in the One who loves us the way He does will not disappoint--it leads to fulfillment-- a joy that is way better than happiness.

So here's to "thinking hopey thoughts"!
