Here's the story:
After I finished creating this painting, I had to sit and cry. I have felt this in such a deep way over the last year and a half.
Maybe you too? Bowed, exhausted, perhaps unable even to form a prayer. But Jesus... He's near, He's there on His knees with you. And His nearness is not passive. He is interceding.
The tears are not in vain, they are being kept in a bottle and will be what God uses to reap a harvest of blessing at just the right time. The breaking of your heart is going to lead to breaking you for good... so much good. But you don't have to jump to that "good" quite yet. The hurt is real and you have permission to feel it all. You are not alone in it. He is interceding. He is having conversations with the Father about you. So when you have no words... that's okay. He does.
And here are two verses to remind you of His beautiful love for you:
Romans 8:26 — when we don't know what to pray, the Spirit intercedes.
Romans 8:34 — Christ Jesus is at the right hand of God interceding for us.
Close your eyes. Let Him remind you that He's praying perfect words for you even when all you have to offer are tears.
