But WITH HIM... now that's another story! It can change not only your life but your household and your children's children... and their children. He goes before you and behind you and beside you, He's within you! He's got us. In Him there is peace. And right now, I think we're all very much aware that \"In Him\" doesn't mean smooth sailing, but it does mean that He is the wind in our sails. The wind, although we can't see it, we can feel it. I've always heard it said that we can't see the wind but we can feel the effects of the wind. So it is with our God. We may not be able to see Him, but we can feel Him and we can see the evidence of God moving. So set sail and let Him guide your life. You don't have to fear today or tomorrow, because He is with you and He is for you. It has woven it’s way into my everyday life. These words spur me on, redirect my priorities, and give me hope to keep going. We have such a legacy in the faith, don’t we? Whether it’s the people we read about in Scriptures or those that we are blessed to live life with that lived and loved their God well this side of heaven. They ran their race and now pass the baton to us. I often think of those I love that are now in the presence of their God. What would they say to us? What would they want us to desperately know? I think they’d say, “He’s worth it! All this… the hard things, the good things, the life we know now… one day it’ll make sense. But above all He’s worth the run!” And so, my friends, let us set our eyes on the prize… fixing our eyes on Jesus… and RUN, throwing off anything and everything that holds us back. It says we have this “sin that so easily entangles”—and isn’t that the truth. But we run and throw it off and keep running and keep throwing it off.
