Planted | Jeremiah 17v7&8

Are you planted? Are you "like a tree planted by water"? He said those that trust in Him-- whose confidence is in their God-- will be like a tree planted by the water. It does not fear when the heat comes. And it even bears fruit in a year of drought! If you have not put your trust in Him, it's not too late. He can be trusted. His ways may be higher and His thoughts higher than ours... but let that not make you run from Him but to Him. For He alone has your best at heart. And when you lay down your need to know why or how or who... you can rest in the One that holds it all together and He says, "I love you. Trust Me." And then you'll stand as a tree beside the water. The Scripture says you will be blessed, stable, resilient, fruitful, strong when circumstances would make others weak, and flourishing even in times of difficulty. That's the beauty of abiding. He says He is the vine and we are the branches... apart from Him we can do nothing. But WITH HIM... now that's a totally different story!
